Since its inception, SADCO has celebrated Colombian Independence Day, which is a Colombian holiday on July 20th. Every year, this special day is celebrated with a picnic in which all SADCO members and friends get together, honor the Colombian anthem, eat, and party with typical Colombian music.
The 2006 picnic to celebrate Colombian Independence Day will be held on Sunday July 23 at Forest Park in Noblesville, Indiana from noon to 6 p.m. The grounds open at noon, with lunch starting shortly after 1:00 pm. There will be special activities for the children and dancing for all ages, with music provided by DJ Elkin Zuluaga. There is plenty of shelter space, so be there, rain or shine!
