Novenas (December)
The Novena de Aguinaldos is one of the most taken root traditions in Colombia during Christmas time. With the celebration of this tradition, SADCO intends to preserve and cultivate the Christmas spirit amongst Colombians as they do back home in Colombia. Christmas means peace, happiness, children, remembrance. It is all the memories of the villancicos, gifts, candy, family reunion and the nativity set what drives SADCO to celebrate the Novenas from December 16 through December 24th every year. SADCO members get together every night to pray and sing along with family and friends.
Dear SADCO Members:
FRIENDS OF COLOMBIA SOCIETY (SADCO) celebrates Christmas with a Christmas Party dedicated to our children and the children of our friends. So you are cordially invited. It is a CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY held in December where we get together to share the spirit of the Holidays and celebrate with games for the children.
In order to share the spirit of the season with less fortunate children, our families donate money to by toys to the poor children in Colombia.
Date and place will be announced soon!

SADCO holds ocasional cultural events by bringing Colombian and Latin American renown artists and musicians to perform both cultural and educational presentations at several venues.
